He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Paul and Clara Hatten (Schilz); his former wives, Mildred Hatten (Hemrich) of Osage Iowa and Betsy; and his siblings, Cletus, Edward and Ramona.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Hatten of Rochester, MN, Renee Hatten Montagne of Boise, Mark Hatten of Fort Worth and Colette Maher of Melrose; and also Scott Christie of South Venice, Florida.. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Visitation Catholic Church (605 N. Board St, Stacyville, IA 50476). The inurnment will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Catholic Cemetery N. Broad.
