He is survived by: his former wife Nancy Roberts; his wife Elaine Wermersen; his children, Steve Thome (Netta), Bonnie Kirtz (David), Darrel Thome (Elaine) and Trena Van Gorp (Michael); his grandchildren, Dustin (Connor Thome), Coty, Kaitlyn, McKenzie (Logan Kirtz) and Hunter (Hannah Thome); his great grandchild Averie; and his sisters, Judy Dahl, Jeannette Retterath, Beth Hackenmiller and Amy Warrington.
