She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gould and Wilma Olson; and her stepfather Richard Olson. She is survived by: her husband John L. Davidson of Springville; her daughters, Stacy Burns (Jesse) of Marion, Kristen Ward (Christopher) of Cedar Rapids and Sarah Austin (Drake) of Marion; her grandchildren, Alyse Burns, Soren Burns, Anastasia, Olivia, Alexis Ward and Camden Austin; and her siblings, Michael Gould of Denver and Deborah Hilleary (Tom) of Portland. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Melissa's name to a favorite charity of the donor's choice.
