He is survived by: his wife Karen Brown of Springville; his children, Kim Wittenburg (Al) of Springville and Curt Brown (Angela) of Brighton, Michigan; his grandchildren, Zach Wittenburg (Lauren) of Springville, Kalli Wittenburg (Alex Griffith) of Adel and Lauren Brown of Ann Arbor, Michigan; his great grandchildren, Finley and Boone Wittenburg; and his brother Fred Brown (Barb) of Decorah, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Joe's memory may be made to Springville United Methodist Church or to the charity of the donor's choice.
