He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Hoskins and Elva Hoskins (Sewell); his in-laws, Kenny and Gladys McShane; and his brother-in-law Jim Colehour.
He is survived by: his wife Carole Hoskins of Springville; his daughter Megan Sova-Tower (Andrew Tower); his grandchildren, Luke Reshetar and Elizabeth Tower; his brother Jim Hoskins (Doris); his nephews, Cory Hoskins (Sarah Eichenberger), Todd Hoskins (Erin) and Dan Colehour (René); his niece Amanda Colehour (Dan Sarasin); his great-nephews, Drew Hoskins (Destiny), Carter Hoskins, Sam, Jacob and Ben Sarasin; his great-niece Dara Hoskins; and his sister-in-law Barb McShane Colehour.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service (3855 Katz Dr, Marion, IA 52302). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Jordan's Grove Cemetery. The inurnment will be held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the family in care of Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, located at 3855 Katz Drive, Marion, Iowa 52302, or to Jordan's Grove Baptist Church, located at 1357 Burnett Station Road, Central City, Iowa 52214.
