He was predeceased by: his siblings, Cecil, Lorenna, Howard, Marion, Maxine and Orville.
He is survived by: his parents, Porter McShane and Alma McShane (Bolton); his wife Lorean of Anamosa; and his children, Steven McShane of Springville, Laura Hendrickson (Gary) of Blair and Evelyn Hart (Harry) of Milan. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
