She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Davidson and Olive Davidson; her husband John; and her brother Lee (Betty). She is survived by: her sons, Jeff Ferguson (Barb) of Bozeman, MT and Steve Ferguson (Lisa) of Dakota Dunes, SD; her grandson Austin Ferguson (Jena); her great grandchildren, Miles and Grace of Dakota Dunes, SD; her grandson Tanner Ferguson (Kayla); her great grandchild Penny Lou of Sioux Falls, SD; her grandchild Taylor Ferguson (Bailey Hawn) of Des Moines, IA.; her nieces, Cindy Redmon and Judy Larsen; and her nephew Tom Davidson.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Spirit Lake United Methodist Church (1812 Gary Ave, Spirit Lake, IA 51360). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at the Laurens Cemetery (44404 140th Ave, Laurens, IA 50554).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ruth's honor may be directed to Spirit Lake United Methodist Church, Northwest Iowa Human Society or American Diabetes Association.
