He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Boettcher and Rose Boettcher (Sievers); and his siblings, Walt, Ray, Willie and Loraine Blair.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Boettcher of Spirit Lake; and his son Ron Boettcher (Karla) of Jackson, MN..
