She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Linn and Ruth Linn; her husband Russell Hecht; and her son Brian Hecht. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Zinn (Kevin) of Lake Park, Jeff Hecht (Crystal Nissen) of Estherville, Becky Hanson (Bill) of Riverside, Greg Hecht (Molly) of Estherville and Shelley Miller (Kevin) of Spirit Lake; and her siblings, Judy Duhn (Allan) of Griswold, Robert Linn (Theresa) of Sioux City and Deb Sorenson (Roger). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Henry-Olson Funeral Chapel-Estherville (401 N 7th St, Estherville, IA 51334). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Estherville Lutheran Church (208 N 8th St, Estherville, IA 51334).
