With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mark E. Tremmel of Spirit Lake, Iowa, born in Sheldon, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 18, 2024 at the age of 66. He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Tremmel and Betty Tremmel (Harnack); his brother John Tremmel; and also, Richard, Leatrice Christensen, Roger Christensen and Kevin Schmidt.
He is survived by: his wife Laverna Schmidt; his son Adam Tremmel (Brianne); his grandchildren, Kiresa and Grayson; his daughter April Kruger (Tom); his grandchildren, Derek and Zeyda; his siblings, Tony Tremmel (Donna), Judy Menage (Marvin), Jim Tremmel and Barb Tremmel; his stepchild Kelly Schmidt (Kim); his stepgrandchildren, Katie, Connor and Cameron; his stepchild Shelly Rupiper (Tim); his stepgrandchildren, Brock (Mackenzie) and Allyson; his stepchild Kristen Summers (Ryan); and his stepgrandchildren, Cole and Kendyl.
