He was predeceased by: his father Albert Kleihauer; and his brother-in-law James Smith (Jim). He is survived by: his mother Mildred Kleihauer (Hughes) of Cherokee, IA; his daughter Cassie Jacobsen (Joshua); his grandson Tucker of LeMars, IA; his sisters, Lynette Hyndman (Patrick) of Cherokee, IA, Diane Halstrom (Dean) of Meriden, IA and Jolene Smith of Correctionville, IA; his close friend Mona Rosdail of Spirit Lake, IA; his stepdaughter Chloe Felling (Garrett); his granddaughters, Rosalie and Anabelle of Van Horne, IA; his aunt Dorothy Bock of Le Mars, IA; and his nieces and nephews, James Smith, Jason Michael, Cherilyn Wicks (David), Daniel Hyndman (Anita), Justin Smith (Tiffany), Aaron Halstrom (Diana), Alan Halstrom, Joshua Smith and Jasmine Maule (Zach). He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
