He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Purdy and Eliza Purdy (Jetter). He is survived by: his wife Jan; his daughter Marcy Toews (Mark) of Spirit Lake; his grandson Carter Toews of Spirit Lake; his sister-in-law Joyce Tague of Council Bluffs, IA; and his pets, Lucy, Tripp and Huck. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
