She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Dale and Marjorie Davis (Creppon); her father-in-law Clifford Caviness; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Louscher and Shirley Caviness.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Caviness; her children, Shelly Walstead (Wayne) of Hartford, SD and Nathan Caviness (Carrie) of Gilbert, AZ; her grandchildren, Erin Walstead (Leighton Blum) of Flandreau, SD, Nicholas Walstead (Dana Voss) of Granite Falls, MN, Ethan, Isaac and Caleb Caviness of Gilbert, AZ.; her siblings, Eileen Elliott of Vancouver, WA, Sharon Kost (Jerry) of Olivet, SD and Gordon Davis (Betty) of Wessington, SD; her mother-in-law Donna Caviness of Spirit Lake, IA; and her brothers-in-law, Pat Caviness (Mary) of Nevada, MO, Tom Caviness (Lisa) of Sioux Falls, SD and Mike Caviness (Janet) of Miller, SD. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
