She was predeceased by: her husband Einar Thompson; and her siblings, Florence Moudry, Edward Schmitt, Edmund Schmitt, Mary Stine and Robert Schmitt.
She is survived by: her children, Noel Thompson (Faye) of Ellsworth, IA, Tim Thompson (Dubai) of Calmar, Kevin Thompson (Shawn Wyant) of Decorah, Ann Fjelstul (Scott) of Decorah, Scott Thompson (Jennifer Olson) of Aspen, CO and Bruce Thompson (Angelina Umansky) of San Francisco, CA; her grandchild Melia Slinger (Ben); her great grandchildren, Tanner, Kisara Thompson, John and Jay Fjelstul; and her sister Helen Timp of Spillville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, there will be NO VISITATION at St. Wenceslaus Church before the service.
