It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby V. Scott of Sperry, Iowa, born in Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on October 27, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Sutcliffe and Esther Sutcliffe (Schmidt); her son Troy; her grandchildren, Dallas and Carrie; and her siblings, Lloyd Scott and Mary Esther Sutcliffe.
She is survived by: her husband Leo Scott of Sperry, IA; her children, Sheila Flietner (Jim) of Burlington, IA, Alan Scott (Julie) of Bloomfield, IA and Monte Scott (Kathleen) of West Point, IA; and her daughter-in-law Lisa Scott of New London, IA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; one great grandson and one great-great-granddaughter.
Social distancing and masks are requested by the family, especially for the sake of their father.
A memorial has been established for the Alzheimer's Association.
