We are sad to announce that on October 27, 2024, at the age of 94, Erma M. Baker of Sperry, Iowa, born in Burlington, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Lucas and Stella Lucas (Ruschill); her husband Howard Baker Jr.; and her great grandchild Ben. She is survived by: her daughters, Barb Loper (Warren) of Sperry, Lynne Evans (Rick) of Sperry and Karen Baker of Burlington, Iowa; her grandchildren, Kathy Espanto (Franklin) of San Antonio, Beth Moehler (Mike) of Mediapolis, Mark Loper (Becka) of Richland, Justin Loper of Sperry, Melissa Loper of Sperry, Chad Evans (Jill) of Mediapolis, Iowa and Kyle Evans (Sandy) of Mediapolis, Iowa; her sister Shirley Granaman (Lester) of Sperry, Iowa; and her sisters-in-law, Jeannie Lucas and Roxanne Lucas. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in her memory for St. John's of Flint River Township Cemetery or Compassus Hospice.
