William Sweet Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Sweet of Spencer, Iowa, who passed away on July 3, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Sweet and Minnie Sweet; his son Randy "Buddy" Sweet; his grandson Phillip Oviatt; his siblings, Kenneth, Leonard, Jim, Fred Sweet, Lucille Campbell, Ruth Ness, Evelyn Sweet and Marty Sweet; his brother-in-law Alfred Ness; and his nephews, Roger and Curt Ness.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Cushing of Langdon, Sharon Matthews (Leo) of Spencer, Steve Anderson (Dot) of Winston-Salem, Lori Sweet-Oviatt of Spencer, Heather Killmer (Brad) of Spencer, Justin Sweet (Heather) of Sioux Falls and Aaron Sweet of Estherville, Iowa. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; thirty seven great grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends.
