He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Steinkamp and Marjorie Steinkamp (Wittrock); and his siblings, Ronald, David and Mary Lou Halbur.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Rietsema; his sons, Tyler (Lindsey) of Marion, IA, Cody (Brittney) of Milford, IA and Ryan of Milford, IA; his stepgrandchildren, Elizabeth, Jeremiah and Addysen; and his siblings, Larry Steinkamp (Peggy) of Waukee, IA, Kenny Steinkamp (Janet) of Auburn, IA, Bob Steinkamp (Kim) of Primghar, IA, Randy Steinkamp (Lynette) of Ft. Dodge, IA, Rick Steinkamp (Sara) of Wall Lake, IA and Marilyn Kuchar (Michael) of LaPlata, MD. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many, many friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up in his name.
