He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Willey and Stella Willey (Poe) of Sutherland; his sister Betty; his brother-in-law George Tippy of Storm Lake; and his brother Sidney of Wahpeton, IA..
He is survived by: his wife Roanne "Jean" Smith; his daughter Dawn Michelle; his great grandchild Gage Thomas (Kirstin Racicot); and his sister-in-law Carol Willey of Wahpeton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends, especially his coffee friends.
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will not be having a public memorial service.
