It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Mae Peters of Spencer, Iowa, born in Primghar, Iowa, who passed away on September 1, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Pfitzenmaier and Loena Pfitzenmaier (Powell); her husband Wayne Peters; and her sisters, Jean Knight, June Hubbard and Bonnie Schoelerman.
She is survived by: her children, Allen Peters of Spencer, Iowa and Carol Schwarck (John) of Columbus, Ohio; and her grandchildren, Steven Schwarck (Donica), Kristin Cly (Andy) and Brittany Perkins (Michael). She is also survived by five great grandchildren all of Columbus, Ohio; other relatives and many friends.
