She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Sullivan and Margaret Sullivan (Halligan); her husband Ray; her siblings, Margie Stacy (Richard), Robert Sullivan, John Sullivan (Arla), Rosemary Thompson (Gene) and Fred Sullivan (Karen); and her brothers-in-law, Jack Kesterson (Geisla), Niles Kesterson and Floyd Kesterson (Connie).
She is survived by: her children, Michael Kesterson of Emmetsburg, IA, Dan Kesterson of Cylinder, IA, Susan Blair of Spencer, IA, Chris Kesterson of Fort Dodge, IA, Matt Kesterson of Laurens, IA and Don Kesterson (Bonnie) of Emmetsburg, IA; and her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Sullivan of Moorland, IA and Agnes Kesterson of Fort Dodge, IA. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowrers, a memorial has been established in Shirley's name.
