He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hoberg and Elsie Mae Hoberg (Meyer); his former wife Beverly Nielsen; his wife Alice Carstensen; and his siblings, Helen Hoberg, Gladys Dalton, Duane, Russell and Robert.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ann Marie, Carol Healy (James) of Omaha, NE and Anne Bauder (Scot) of Longmont, CO. He is also survived by five grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to First Congregational Church in Spencer.
