He was predeceased by: his grandmothers, Phyllis Oviatt (Fogarty) and Betty Lou Sweet (Riemer); his uncles, Randy Sweet (Bud), Dennis Oviatt and Philip Oviatt; and his siblings-in-law, Katie Huffman and Andy Huffman.

He is survived by: his parents, Kevin Oviatt of Spencer, IA and Lori Oviatt (Sweet) of Spencer, IA; his children, Jayda, Carver and Breckyn; his wife Kourtney Oviatt (Huffman); his grandfather Dwain Oviatt of Spencer, IA; his sisters, Katie Cook (Justin) of Spencer, IA and Emilie Davenport (John) of Spencer, IA; and his nieces and nephews, Isabella, Maddox, Dylan, Harper, Emersyn, Madison, Zachary, Drayk, Myles, Baylie and Sadie.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in memory of Philip.
