He is survived by: his sons, Mark Vandehaar (Ann) of Spencer, IA and Dr. Kent Vandehaar (Sheri) of Chippewa Falls, WI.; his grandchildren, Ryan Vandehaar of Seattle, WA, Adam Vandehaar (Dani) of Des Moines, IA, Dr. Jason Vandehaar (Heather) of Madison, WI, Eric Vandehaar of Denver, CO, Dr. Catherine Vandehaar of Hood River, OR and Samuel Vandehaar of Chippewa Falls, WI; his great grandchildren, Lukas of Seattle, WA, Henry and Jack of Madison, WI.; and his sister Vivian Thompson (John) of Des Moines, IA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
