She was predeceased by: her parents, Duane Jipson and Edith Jipson (Hill); her son Wayne Carlson; her former husband Ronald Carlson; and her sister LaVonne Carlson (Jipson).
She is survived by: her husband Charles Knight; and her children, Steven Carlson (Yumi Konishi) of Himeji, Kay Carlson (Mark Anderson) of Portland, OR, Lori Duran of Austin, TX, Jill Carlson (William Calhoun) of Bloomsburg, PA and Michael Carlson (Luda Carlson) of Ames, IA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
