With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Lamer of Spencer, Iowa, who passed away on April 8, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Michael departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Michael leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Lamer and Mary Lamer (Fisher); and his father-in-law Edward Welch. He is survived by: his wife Eileen Lamer (Welch); his children, Leslie Dahl-Mongan (Glenn Mongan) and Jordan Welch (Dallas Welch); and his grandchildren, Lake, Autumn, Peyton and Ember Mongan. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Turner Jenness Funeral Home (1302 Hill Ave, Spirit Lake, IA 51360).
