He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Cornwell and Sylvia Cornwell (Moore); his parents-in-law, Fletcher, Wilma West and Brother Gordon Cornwell; his siblings-in-law, Don Hurley and Gwen Cornwell; his niece Cindy Kassel; and his nephews, Lacey and Jerry Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Cornwell (Tonya Cornwell) and Lynda Cornwell (Spencer); his wife Karen West; his grandchildren, Kayla Cornwell (Kelbey Isack), Jenna Cornwell of Brookings, SD, Jordan Cornwell and Jack Winburn of Sioux Falls; his great grandchild Noah Cornwell (Sioux Falls); and his siblings, Ann Hurley, Marilyn Price of Tulsa, OK, Cheryl Coryea (Richard Devlin) and Lowell Cornwell.
