It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mazie L. Elkin of Spencer, Iowa, born in Emmetsburg, Iowa, who passed away on August 25, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tennyson Eaton and Plissa Eaton (Conrad); her former husband Harold Rettig of Spirit Lake; her husband Howard Elkin of Spencer; and her son Daniel.
She is survived by: her children, Dwayne Rettig (Sheri) of Lorimor, IA, Douglas Rettig (Kimberly) of Marshalltown, Dirk Rettig (Kim) of Lincoln, NE and Dory Hudson of Spencer; and her cousin Kay Domek of Emmetsburg. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren.
