He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stanley Somers and Flora Mae Somers (Williams); his son Gregory Alan; and his former wife Shirley Ward. He is survived by: his son Jeffrey Marvin; his wife Pam Somers of Spencer, IA; his sons, Dennis Somers (Linda) of Sioux Rapids, IA and Jeff Somers (Shana Ray); his stepchildren, Penny Kim (Phil) of Miami Shores, FL and Clay Carlson of Milford, IA; his sister Shirley Vukson of Council Bluffs, IA; his grandchildren, Nathan Somers (Kelly), Kelli Billingsley (Mike) of Allen, TX, Lauren Sly (Chase) of Azle, TX and Garrett Somers (Quinn) of Azle, TX.; his great grandchildren, Michelle, Katie, Mike (Billingsley), Pax, Phoebe (Kim), Logan, Harper (Sly), Greyson and Aliyah (Somers); and also Pam.
