It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlyce Glendoryce Bauermeister (Spencer, Iowa), born in Wausa, Nebraska, who passed away on March 24, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Johnson and Dagmar Johnson; and her siblings, Dale, Eldred Johnson and Raynee Price.
She is survived by: her husband Ron Bauermeister of Spencer, IA; her sons, Kurt Bauermeister (Karen) of Spencer, IA, Scot Bauermeister (Tina) of Spirit Lake, IA and Mark Bauermeister (Brenda) of Marion, IA.; her grandchildren, Ryan Bauermeister (Allie), Kendra Macke (Tanner), Sara Schiltz (Drew), Jack Bauermeister, Aidan Bauermeister, Grant Bauermeister, Grace Bauermeister and Garrett Bauermeister; and her great grandchildren, Theodore, Sage Bauermeister, Gavin Schiltz and Owen Macke.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (900 11th Ave W, Spencer, IA 51301). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at the Riverside Cemetery (1701 W 4th St, Spencer, IA 51301).
