We are sad to announce that on June 9, 2023, at the age of 64, Mark Franklyn Merchant in Spencer, Iowa, born in Waterloo, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Lois Merchant (Sandy); and his brother Jerry. He is survived by: his father Frank Merchant of Spencer, IA; his brother Scott Merchant (Angela) of Spencer, IA; his sister-in-law Michelle Allen of Rockford, IL; his aunt Lila Parks of Freeport, IL; his nieces, Dani Doran, Kara Bartholomew (Sean), April Johnson, Kirsten Schulz (Dillon), Kinley Merchant, Jerra Merchant and Brynn Merchant; his nephew Jackson Merchant; and his great-nephews, Hunter, Sawyer, Griffin and Macklyn. He is also survived by other relatives; and many friends.
In Lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Mark's name for future development of Sunshine Group Home.
