He was predeceased by: his wife Edna Mae Grover (Riley); his former wife Mary Evelyn Grover (Laubenthal); his parents, Lynn "Bud" Grover and Iva Grover (Alger); his son Randy Grover; his grandson Bill Cooper; his siblings, Kay Hansen (Merlyn) and Keith Grover; and his brothers-in-law, Merlyn Hansen and Roger Riley.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Riley (Ed Vierow) of Royal, Iowa, Rick Grover (Tracey) of Milford, Iowa, Brian Grover (Stacy) of Spencer, Iowa and Brad Grover (Cheri) of Amarillo, Texas; his stepdaughter Angie Friedrich of Spencer, Iowa.; and his siblings-in-law, Faye Ann Hansen, Tammy True, Georgia Riley and Rodney Riley. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
