He was predeceased by: his parents, Reka "Ricky" Petersen (Mett) and Harry F. Petersen; his sister Charlyn; and his brothers-in-law, Wilbur "Pete" Bennett and Mike Goettsch.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie; his daughters, Debbie Weeks (Marty) of Milo, IA, Linda LaMair (Greg), Kim Carter (John) of Washington, IA and Heidi Jensen (Kurt) of San Antonio, TX.; his grandchildren, Megan Birchette (Zeb), Allen Weeks, Lindsey Hawbaker (Riley), Peter LaMair (Courtney), Annie Claypool (Parker), Lauren, Jack, Roy Carter, Josie and Jake Jensen; and his sister-in-law Pam Goettsch of Monticello, IA.. He is also survived by his family and all the friends.
