He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerda Laursen and Marius Laursen. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Laursen; his children, Marilyn Lago, Becky McLaughlin, Mark Laursen, Belinda Strobel and Lisa Jamieson; and his sisters, Rheta Dean of Peterson, IA and Lin Laursen of Arizona City, AZ.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
