She was predeceased by: her parents, Don DuBois and Opal DuBois (Thompson); her parents-in-law, Don and Lenora Kilpatrick; her sister Ronette DuBois; her granddaughter Lily Gilderhus; and her nephew Mike Darnell.

She is survived by: her husband Kent Kilpatrick of Spencer; her daughters, Kim Baxter (John) of Neola, IA, Lori Swanson (Chris) of Spirit Lake and Tami Gilderhus (Scott) of Spencer; her grandchildren, Kellerie Burns (Colin), Mitchell Carrigan, Sarah Carrigan, Cullen Carrigan (Kenzy Lee), Drake Swanson, Piper Cleveland (William), Grace Gilderhus and Addison Gilderhus; her great grandchildren, Trig Cauthron, Olive Burns and Theodore Burns; her sister Donette Hanson of Spencer; and her siblings-in-law, Gary Kilpatrick (Dee) and Karen Coffey. She is also survived by many nephews, a niece and many friends.
