He is survived by: his wife Joann Williamson of Spencer, Iowa; his children, Gary Garrelts (Rita) of Ayrshire, Gregg Garrelts (Donna) of Ruthven, Iowa and Karla McDowell (Randal) of Victoria, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Ellie (Andrew), Andrew (Tiffani), Brady (Jenna), Bailee (Trent), Adam, Mary and Michael; his great grandchild Paisley; his brother David Garrelts (Joanne) of Emmetsburg, Iowa; and his siblings-in-law, Bob and Lou Williamson of Spencer, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; as well as other relatives and friends.
