She was predeceased by: her parents, William Scarborough and Clara Jean Ostenstad (Moore). She is survived by: her husband Thomas Olin of Royal, IA; her children, Jacob Olin (Jessica) of Sioux Center, IA, Molly Stearns (Kirk) of Emmetsburg, IA and Joshua Olin of Iowa City, IA; her grandchildren, Aubrey Olin, Anika, Hayden and Thomas Stearns; her brother Bill Scarborough (Mary) of Omaha, NE; her cousin Deb Leonard (Reid) of Boston, MA; and her sister-in-law Julie Smith (Ted) of Storm Lake, IA. She is also survived by 2 nieces; 3 nephews; other relatives; and many friends.
In Lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Karen's name.
