It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Weathers of Spencer, Iowa, who passed away on June 5, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Dawson Weathers Dillan Zimmer, Caden McDonald Chance McDonald, Jeremy Jalas Nick Jalas and Aaron Jalas; his wife Karen Weathers of Sutherland, Iowa; his children, Lori Jalas (Jim) of Okoboji, Iowa, Mona Fischer (Dave) of Neola and Nathan Weathers (Tammy) of Primghar; and his sisters, Alverta Gries (LaVern) of Sierra Vista and Lorraine Kay of Holstein. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
