He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Schimmer and Sylvia Schimmer (Hardenbrook); his daughter Lynn; his wife Marilyn Miller; his brother Dale Schimmer; and his sister-in-law Norma Schimmer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Terri Carnahan (Steve), Peg Schimmer and Sue Christofferson (Jamie); his grandchildren, Chris Carnahan, Robin Lambertus (Brad) and Andrew Christofferson; and his nephews, Brian Schimmer and Brad Schimmer.
