He is survived by: his father Duane Mahrt of Sioux City, IA; his wife Judy Irwin of Spencer; his children, Angie McMullen (Chris) of Grimes, IA, Andrew Mahrt of Tempe, AZ, Allison Borchers (Bryan) of Akron, IA and Ashley Dyhrkopp (Cody) of LeMars, IA; his grandchildren, Max, Madelyn, Parker, Carter, Camryn and Cora; his siblings, Bill Mahrt (Cathie) and Sue Wilcox (Scott) of Dakota Dunes, SD; and his mother-in-law Angie Irwin of Sioux City, IA.
