He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Hofmeyer and Stella Hofmeyer (Christensen); and his brothers, Greg and Willis "Babe" Hofmeyer. He is survived by: his wife Carol Stapenhorst; his children, Jason Hofmeyer (Sally) of Bellevue, NE, Carman Ward (Aaron) of Sioux Falls, SD and Michele Latham (Michael); his grandchildren, Jacob, Nathan, Jasper, Sevee and Luxor; his sisters, Wanda Hofmeyer and Dawn "Dede" Martinson (Darryl) of Brandon, SD; his pet Zyn; and also Mark. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be designated to them for the use of purchasing Jason's cemetery marker.
