He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford and Luella (Schmidt); his stepmother Elenore Kunzmann-Hartmann; and his stepsister Connie Kunzmann. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jo Zimmer of Everly, IA; his children, Kelly Hartmann (Heidi) of Spencer, IA, Michelle White (Thomas) of Elizabethton, TN and Penni Blank (Brian) of Gardner, KS; his grandchildren, Briana Simmons (Ed), Emily Kiecker (Clint), Britney Hartmann, Kate, Rachael, Andrew White, Makenzie and Brecken Blank; his great grandchildren, Aris, Noah and Isleigh; his brother Joel Hartmann (Susan) of Everly, IA; and his stepbrothers, Craig Kunzmann (Linda) of Everly, IA and Rick Kunzmann of Sioux Falls, SD. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; other relatives; and many friends.
