With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hugh Wayne Johnson (Spencer, Iowa), born in Lake Park, Iowa, who passed away on December 25, 2019 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Marlys Gruhn; and his brother Jae. He is survived by: his children, Kathy Ver Steeg (Alan) of Rock Valley, IA and Mark (Allison) of Waukee, IA; his grandsons, Justin Matthews of Texas and Matt Kraft (Tracy) of San Antonio, TX; and his great grandchildren, Brynley and Annistyn. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
