She was predeceased by: her parents, George Lovrien and Emma Lovrien (Zeman); her husband Howard Porter; and her sisters, Inez Lauritsen, Ruth Lovrien, Alice Carlson and Hope Leonard.
She is survived by: her sons, Gregory Porter (Bonnie) of Callender, IA, Thomas Porter (Joni) of Rincon, GA and Paul Porter of Colorado Springs, CO; her grandchildren, Jennifer Johnson (Brad), Kris Breton (Matt), Justin Porter and Danelle Porter; her stepgranddaughters, Hannah Cook and Sara Swenson (Chris); her great grandchildren, Crosby Breton and Willa Johnson; and her siblings, Gladys Zweifel of Spirit Lake, IA, Shirley Ohrtman (Ray) of Spencer, IA, Glenn Lovrien of Fullerton, CA and Robert Lovrien of Rockford, IL.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Helen's name.
