He is survived by: his wife Janet Lynn Thompson; his grandson Bret; his great grandchild Skip; his granddaughter Casey; and his children, Angela Youngdahl (Lyle) of Spencer, Bret Vanderpool of Milford and Brian Vanderpool (Lori) of Gillett Grove.
