It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Richard Kruger (Spencer, Iowa), born in Slayton, Minnesota, who passed away on November 23, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kruger and Dorothy Kruger (Visker); and his sister Margie Blochowitz. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Nordstrom of Milford; his brother Elvin "Butch" Kruger (Barb) of Fulda, MN; and his brother-in-law Gilbert J. Blochowitz of Bigalow, MN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.

I was very fortunate to have him as a mentor. George laid a strong foundation for learning at the school.
