Gene Dalager Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 11, 2021, Gene Dalager of Spencer, Iowa, born in Preston, Minnesota passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gene Dalager to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ober Herbert and Esther Jane Dalager (Swanson); and his brother Neil Dalager (Lea). He is survived by: his wife Alice Dalager of Spencer; his grandsons, Carter, Jackson and Malcolm Dalager; his siblings, Gary Dalager (Norma) of Sweet Springs, Missouri and Lois Carder of Tucson, Arizona; and his siblings-in-law, Audrey Vanderhoff (Russ) of Spencer, Wilma Faulkner of Spencer and Levi Gloyd (Elaine) of Spencer. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the church. Those attending the visitation and funeral are asked to wear a mask. Burial will be held at a later date at Fairview Cemetery in Langdon.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family and will be donated to favorite charities.
