It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Lee Lundquist (Spencer, Iowa), who passed away on March 27, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Lundquist and Margaret Lundquist (Franklin); and his brother Richard Lundquist. He is survived by: his children, Mark Lundquist (Colleen) of Rossie, IA and Mary Fiedler (Steve) of Spencer, IA; his grandchildren, Jay Lundquist (Janette), Molly Lundquist-Cords (Amber), Zoe Fiedler and Zia Fiedler; his great grandchildren, Connor, Rory, Elyse and Tucker; and his sisters, Jeanne Petersen (Gordon) of Huxley, IA and Connie Huberg (Roger) of Royal, IA. He is also survived by other relatives; and many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bethany Lutheran Church (15 W 14th St, Spencer, IA 51301). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at the Riverside Cemetery (1701 W 4th St, Spencer, IA 51301).
