He is survived by: his wife Marilyn "Mary" Dierenfield of Spencer, IA; and his stepchildren, Tammy Brophy (Jeff) of Jefferson, IA, Todd Olson of Phoenix, AZ, Janelle Woodruff (Kory) of Lisbon, IA and Jason Anderson (Angie) of Spencer, IA. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; other relatives; and many friends.
He was member of Faith Hope and Charity where he read to children, Singles Club, and Christ the King Lutheran Church.
