It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Jane Sandvig of Spencer, Iowa, who passed away on May 6, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ford and Margaret Ford (Walsh); her in-laws, Mary Deacon (Edward), Gertrude Crotty (Austin), Francis Cole (George), Robert Ford (Shirley), Kathleen Filloon (Bill), Margaret Dorrell (Keith), Evelyn Sandvig, Robert Sandvig (Winnie), Charlene Sanden (Bruce), Raymond Sandvig, Rosemary Dershem (Don), Eugene Sandvig (Beverly) and Dorothy Pellant; and her close friends, Kenny, Ellen, Donna Meyer, Sherry Amendt and Lana Deist-Greimann.
She is survived by: her children, Jeanne, Janet and Kenneth Jr. (Okie); her in-laws, Jeanne McEntee (Dan), Janet Muller (Jay) and Kenneth Sandvig, Jr. (Julie); her grandchildren, John McEntee (Janelle), Jill Sears (Luke), Christy Bjorklund (Boone), Kathryn Fairbanks (Nick), Amanda Sandvig, Nichole Fleming (Alex) and Jacob Sandvig; her great grandchildren, Avery, Alayna, Halle, Maggie, Gage, Ellie, Ross, Adelyn, Bentyn, Ellyn, Irelyn, Amelia and Kenny; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Sandvig (Raymond). She is also survived by nieces and nephews and dear friends.
